How important is public speaking to teens ?

Are they prepared to face the working world with confidence ?

While academic qualifications in Malaysia is important, or maybe to some parents, the most important in the quest for their child to have a great career, somewhat, confidence is something i reckon is missing in the equation.

Now, confidence can be built in many ways, example, taking leadership roles in school, winning the sports they are in, completing project with flying colors, and many more ways.

If the child goes into the interview room and were asked, " Could you please tell me your achievements in school?"

Errrmm...eerrmm...

What happens next ?

Communication skills is one area which i feel is lacking in school. Maybe to some schools, but the emphasize is not really there to push through such important skills to the child.

Johan Speaking Academy has trained more than 1000 kids to speak on stage. While our focus is kids, we are also offering our program to teens.
