College : The dreaded final year project where you need to present in front of your peers or lecturers. You can do your project well, have great ideas, but if you can't present it, it will go to waste. If you can't express your ideas well, it is just an idea kept.
Workforce : Being able to do public speaking will keep you ahead of your colleagues. Employers are looking for people who can articulate their message and sell their ideas. Or better sell the products and services of the company.
2) You go out of your comfort zone, which is ..
Public speaking will push you out of your comfort zone. When you are out of your comfort zone , you are learning. And continuous learning is important if we want to move forward in life. When you volunteer for an event , to be a speaker or an emcee for your company, you push yourself. Keep pushing your boundaries and you will see the benefits.
3) You will increase your influence
A speaker who is able to speak will, will help people through his or her message. Your voice, your story can impact, influence and inspire the audience. You have the power to change a person's life. Be that person and give value to society. This can be achieved through public speaking.

Johan Speaking Academy has trained more than 1000 kids to speak on stage since 2014. The founder Johan is the 2015 Peninsular Malaysia Public Speaking Champion.
